White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on Wednesday responded to threats by Soros-backed Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner to arrest ICE agents in the Philadelphia airport.
Leavitt held a press briefing amid the ongoing government shutdown and news that the Pentagon plans to send an additional 3,000 troops from the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East, where she was asked about Krasner’s threats.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, during a press conference at Philadelphia International Airport on Tuesday, Krasner attacked innocent ICE agents, who are cutting wait times at airports, as the Democrats’ shutdown of the Transportation Security Administration passes the 40-day milestone. Krasner threatened to arrest the federal agents.
“I will put you in handcuffs, and I will put you in a courtroom, and if necessary, I will put you in a jail cell,” he said to ICE agents, claiming they committed “criminal homicide of unarmed, innocent people” in Minneapolis. But he failed to mention that the radical leftists killed in the ICE and CBP-involved shootings in Minneapolis earlier this year were both armed with deadly weapons, one with a car and one with a handgun.
“The president cannot pardon you. I’ll say it again, the president cannot pardon you,” he said.

Krasner: This is how it works. You commit crimes within the jurisdiction that is the City and County of Philadelphia, I prosecute you. That is how it works. No, I don’t take a phone call from the president saying, “Let him go.” No, the president cannot pardon you. I’ll say it again, the president cannot pardon you.
And yes, I will put you in handcuffs, and I will put you in a courtroom, and if necessary, I will put you in a jail cell if you decide to make the Terrazzo floor of this airport anything like what you did in the streets of Minneapolis, which involved the criminal homicide of unarmed, innocent people. We are not having that here.
But let me go back. To all ICE agents who are going to keep their oath, who are going to follow the law and uphold the Constitution of the United States, thank you for keeping your oath. To any agent who might think about doing it an illegal way, I’ll be seeing you in court, and you’re not going to like it.
Leavitt responded on Tuesday with incredulity, slamming Krasner’s comments as “disgraceful.”
“The president cannot pardon you? For what? He’s talking to the ICE agents who are handing out water bottles and are helping people move through lines at airports?” she asked. Leavitt further noted that ICE agents are “on the ground doing this important work, not just in our nation’s airports, but again, to remove violent, dangerous, illegal alien criminals from our country,” urging Krassner to “actually sit down and speak with the ICE agents.”

The men and women of ICE are great people. I would encourage this lawmaker, whose name I don’t know and don’t care to know, to actually sit down and speak with the ICE agents who are on the ground doing this important work, not just in our nation’s airports, but again, to remove violent, dangerous, illegal alien criminals from our country, to protect this individual and all of us in this room and Americans across the country, from murderers, pedophiles and rapists who have been allowed into our country by Democrat politicians.
