Boyle is a Boston-based psychiatrist and chief medical officer at Stella, a clinic focused on alternative treatments for conditions including PTSD and depression.
He has publicly discussed the use of ketamine in mental health care.
“I just saw the incredible power of what these treatments could do,” Boyle said in a podcast las year. “It’s a ton of fun helping patients get better.”
“Celebrities tend to be more inclined to be on the hunt for highly effective solutions across beauty, health, mental health, nutrition and so on.”
The campaign has not elaborated services were provided or who took part.
AOC has previously backed expanding research into psychedelics. In 2019, she pushed for federal funding into substances like psilocybin and MDMA.
“From the oioid crisis to psilocybin’s potential with PTDS, it’s well past time we take drug use out of criminal consideration and into medical consideration,” she swrote at the time.
”That begins with research. I’m proud to introduce an amendment that helps scientists do their jobs.”

The proposal failed at the time but similar efforts later passed in 2023.
It is not the first time that AOC has been caught spending other people’s money on questionable campaign activities.
Last March, it was revealed that she had secretly charged axpayers thousands of dollars for dance lessons and lavish parties at Mexican restaurants.
.@AOC got dance lessons on 12/13/2024 from Bombazo Dance Co Inc and made the US taxpayer cover the $850 bill for that “training.”
On the same day there was $3,700 paid to Juan D Gonzalez for more “training.”
