In yet another display of absolute weakness from Democrat leadership, the Minnesota National Guard has been reduced to serving as a catering service for radical left-wing agitators.
Instead of maintaining order or protecting federal property from the lawless mobs that have besieged the city, our brave men and women in uniform are now apparently being ordered to reward the mob.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz activated the National Guard weeks ago as protests surged after federal immigration operations intensified in the Twin Cities.
According to reports coming out of Minnesota, Guard members have been deployed to a federal facility, not to hold the line, but to ensure the anti-ICE protesters stay warm and fed.
News commentator Anthony Cabassa broke the unbelievable story, revealing that the Guard has effectively been turned into a taxpayer-funded concierge service for the radical Left.
“MN National Guard members have arrived at the site of the federal building, and have been ordered to distribute donuts, coffee and hot chocolate to anti-ice protestors.”
But it gets worse.
The orders given to these Guard members highlight just how backwards the situation has become. The leadership is so terrified of offending the mob—and so afraid of the rioters turning violent—that they have ordered the troops to distinguish themselves from actual federal agents.
According to Cabassa, the troops were issued specific instructions regarding their attire:
“They were given reflective vests so protestors don’t confuse them with federal agents.”

The bizarre scene unfolded as protests continued to intensify across Minneapolis in response to the January 24 fatal shooting of Alex Pretti by federal Border Patrol agent.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and other Democrat leaders have repeatedly aligned themselves with anti-ICE activists, sanctuary policies, and soft-on-crime ideology. But this latest incident pushes the absurdity to a new level.
The National Guard exists to protect citizens, critical infrastructure, and public order, not to act as a mobile café for mobs protesting the enforcement of federal law.
At a time when border chaos, fentanyl deaths, and violent crime are devastating American communities, Minnesota Democrats are busy turning serious institutions into props for performative politics.
