Texas Senate candidate James Talarico has said America should put a “giant welcome mat” on its southern border with Mexico.
Talarico is running for the Democrat primary in Texas against the vile Jasmine Crockett.
“My family is from the border,” he said. “My mum grew up in Laredo, Texas.”
“I feel like Texans understand this issue more so than people in other states because we live with it,” he continued. “Both the benefits and the challenges.”
“So what I’ve said is that our southern border should be like our front porch. There should be a giant welcome mat out front and a lock on the door.”
”We can welcome immigrants who want to live the American dream and we can build a pathway to citizenship for those neighbors who have been here making us richer and stronger and we can keep out people who mean to do us harm.”

Talarico, who is a member of the Texas House of Representatives, has made his role as a Presbyterian seminarian a central aspect of his campaign.
Despite his supposed commitment to Christian values, Talarico has been caught following a multitude of porn stars, escorts, and OnlyFans models across his social media accounts.

He made his latest remarks during a debate with Texas Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, who is running against him in the Democratic primary.
During her remarks, Crockett said ICE officers were acting with the endorsement of the Supreme Court as they carry out their duties.
“They are turning us into Nazi Germany by saying they’re gonna go door-to-door, or they are going after people because of their accent, or the color of their skin, because this Supreme Court gave them carte blanche ability to do so,” she ranted.

According to RealClearPolling, an Emerson poll has Talarico leading Crockett by nine points.
However, two separate polls from TSU and the University of Houston show her up by eight and 18 points, respectively.
Whoever comes up on top, Republicans must hold this seat later this year.
