Those who work the land are rising against Labour’s socialist tax raid.
It’s unsurprising that the new budget proposal by Prime Minister Keir Starmer and his chancellor Rachel Reeves are causing major protests by farmers and landowners, who arrived in Westminster in droves to protest about the increased inheritance tax.
Dozens of tractors have been descending on Downing Street despite the Scotland Yard banning tractors near Parliament.

Daily Mail reported:
“Several farmers have been arrested after driving to Westminster in defiance of a tractor ban as they protested against Rachel Reeves’ Budget.
Agriculturists were banned from bringing their tractors amid plans for protests against controversial UK inheritance tax reforms, known as ‘family farm tax’.”

The two-tier Metropolitan Police restricted the demonstration to a small, designated area of Whitehall.
“Farmers were no longer allowed to protest outside Downing Street as the force said it could ‘result in serious disruption to the life of the community’.
Despite this, dozens of tractors were parked outside Parliament in defiance of Met police restrictions prohibiting agricultural machinery from the area.”

The Telegraph reported:
“‘If you want the argument for two-tier policing, this is it’, says Jacob Rees-Mogg, who stopped by on his way to lunch. ‘If they had said they were farmers for Palestine they’d have been able to bring as many tractors as they liked. As they are campaigning about something that affects the United Kingdom, the police gave them almost no notice. They said the reason was disrupting the traffic, but Whitehall is shut. The police have disrupted the traffic themselves’.”
