Michigan’s defiant Democrat Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson has been in the news after she refused the DOJ’s demands to turn over unredacted voter rolls. The term-limited secretary of state, Jocelyn Benson, whose 2026 campaign for governor is being funded in large part by members of George Soros’s family, cites the need to protect voters’ US Social Security numbers from the federal government that literally issues the Social Security numbers.
Jocelyn Benson doesn’t think Michigan voters are smart enough to understand her motives. Benson claims she’s denying the DOJ access to Michigan’s voter rolls because she doesn’t want them to see MI driver’s license numbers. It’s more likely she is protecting the State Department from exposure when the DOJ discovers the number of non-citizens registered to vote once they obtain a Michigan driver’s license.
And finally, another reason Jocelyn Benson doesn’t want the DOJ to investigate Michigan’s voter rolls is that, given the many ways elections are stolen, the DOJ is likely to discover that Michigan’s voter rolls are among the most corrupt in the nation.
A good place to start is with some of Michigan’s OLDEST “ACTIVE” voters…
At 115 years old, Naomi Whitehead is America’s oldest living citizen.
If Naomi is the oldest living citizen in America, how is it possible that Michigan currently has 333 ACTIVE voters listed on its voter rolls who are 115+ years old? A whopping 257 of the 333 ACTIVE voters aged 115+ are registered to vote in Wayne County, MI (where the city of Detroit is located).
Did you know Michigan’s voter rolls list 9 ACTIVE voters born between 1850 and 1898?
According to the Census Bureau’s 2020 Demographic & Housing Characteristics (DHC), approximately 267 individuals in Michigan are 105 years old or older. If that number is accurate, then why, according to MI SOS Jocelyn Benson’s Qualified Voter Files (QVF), does the state of Michigan have 1,577 “ACTIVE” voters who are currently 105+ years old on the current voter rolls? Of those 1,577 “ACTIVE” voters 105+ years old, 1,030 are currently registered as ‘ACTIVE” voters in Wayne County, MI.

Meet 116-year-old Ardis Barnes
Ardis Barnes was born in Covington, Massachusetts, on September 3, 1909. He was drafted into the military during WWII at the age of 31. Ardis died at the age of 59, on November 5, 1968, and was buried at the Elmwood Cemetery in Detroit, Michigan.
On August 4, 2009, 41 years after he died, Ardis was able to resurrect himself just long enough to vote IN PERSON in Detroit from 18900 BARLOW ST DETROIT MI 48205 after he was registered to vote on October 4, 2004.
Meet 113-Year-Old Selma Steel
According to Michigan’s corrupt voter rolls, “Selma Steel” was an “ACTIVE” voter registered at 5991 Seneca St., Detroit, MI., until 4 months ago, when his name was removed. Selma’s last name is actually “Steels,” according to the official US Social Security records. Our research reveals that Selma spelled his last name at least 3 different ways: Steel, Steels, and Steele.
The official US Public Records documents show Mr. Selma Steels (“Steel,” according to the MI QVF) was born in 1912, which, if he were still alive, would make him 113 years old. Mr. Steel. According to Michigan’s corrupt voter rolls, he was registered to vote in Michigan on 1-1-1900, 12 years before he was born.
A copy of Mr. Selma Steel’s draft card reveals that he served in WWII.
Mr. Selma Steels died in Detroit, MI, on December 12, 1992.
Although he had been dead for 8 years, somehow, Selma was able to vote “absentee” in 3 elections in the City of Detroit. Votes were cast under Selma’s name in November 2020, the August 2, 2021, primary election, and the local November 2021 election.
Last month, the Gateway Pundit revealed that we are working with a team of election integrity experts to pore through almost one million documents from Detroit’s 2020 election, thanks to a FOIA request followed by a lawsuit by independent investigator Yehuda Miller.

Included in the documents obtained by Yehuda Miller are absentee ballot envelopes, absentee applications, and ballots. Fortunately, we were able to find the SIGNED absentee ballot envelope for Selma “Steel,” who would’ve been dead for 8 years by the time he signed the application and envelope.
We are being careful not to expose the signature of “Selma Steel” at this time, but plan to turn over all of our work to the DOJ once we have meticulously documented and accounted for all of Detroit’s 2020 election documents. The signature on the envelope and the date appear to be in two different handwritings and appear to be written with two different pens.

A quick comparison of Selma Steel’s marriage certificate signature with the signature on the Selma Steel case reveals that the two are not even close. As a reminder, MI SOS Jocelyn Benson instructed clerks across Michigan to ignore signature matching in the 2020 election.
Meet 108-year-old Norman Vernon Zook.
Norman Vernon Zook was born on September 8, 1917, and was also drafted into the military during WWII.
Norman died on March 24, 2016, but in November 2016, Norman was somehow able to leave the cemetery in Oregon, where he had been buried for 8 months, and make his way back to Michigan to vote IN PERSON in the 2016 general election.
According to the National Smokejumper Association, Norman was born in Mio, Michigan, and spent the rest of his life living in Oregon until his death. After the war, Norman had many jobs: Shuttle driving at the Portland Airport, working on a cattle ranch in Southern Oregon, and working for Haley Logging Company in Oregon. He lived in La Pine and Redmond, Oregon.
The Heights Assisted Living Center, where Norman lived in Redman, Oregon, before his death, shared a note on his memorial page about how much they will miss him.
Meet 107-yr-old Geneva Bell Tice.
Geneva died on March 1, 2017, in Florida, where, according to her obituary, she had been living since 2003.
Geneva, who died in Florida in 2007, somehow, like so many Michigan voters, managed to “vote” IN PERSON after she died in the 2010 August mid-term election.
Meet 104-year-old Anna Esther Warkentin Walter
Anna died on March 26, 2014, but, according to records obtained by Check My Vote, someone somehow voted IN PERSON for Anna in November 2014.
*Anna’s “Active” voter status and name have now been removed from the voter rolls after a Check My Vote investigator sent evidence of his death to the clerk’s office.
Anna died at the age of 92 on March 26, 2014; however, she was able to vote IN PERSON 8 months later, in the November 2014 midterm election.
Meet 99-year-old WWII veteran Basil Emery Mills.
Basil died on April 17, 2016, and was buried at the Greenwood Cemetery in Petoskey, MI.
Unfortunately, this is the 3rd WWII veteran we have highlighted in our investigation who voted IN PERSON 7 months after he was buried.
Meet 102-yr-old Rex Leland Dye
Rex died on November 6, 1999, in Crystal Falls, Michigan, and was buried at the Bates Township Cemetery in Mapleton, MI.
According to Check My Vote, someone voted for Leland IN PERSON in the November 2012 election, 13 years after he died.
*Leland’s “Active” voter status and name have now been removed from the voter rolls after a Check My Vote investigator sent evidence of his death to the clerk’s office.
Meet 101-year-old Leon Burgess.
Leon Burgess, a US Army veteran, was born on September 17, 2025. He died on December 20, 2008.
Sadly, someone voted IN-PERSON for the US Army veteran in the November 2012 general election, 4 years after he passed away.
*Burgess’s “Active” voter status and name have now been removed from the voter rolls after a Check My Vote investigator sent evidence of his death to the clerk’s office.
Meet 116-year-old Gertrude Carter.
According to Ancestry.com, Gertrude was born on February 5, 1907, and died on December 13, 1993. Eleven years after passing away, Gertrude was allegedly registered to vote on Oct. 6, 2014. Although she had been deceased for 19 years, Gertrude “voted” in the 2014 mid-term election in Detroit.
Unfortunately, these are only some of the deceased voters discovered by volunteer investigators working with Check My Vote and the Gateway Pundit to uncover some of the many undetected ways elections are being stolen in the City of Detroit.

It’s time every state in America got on board and gave its citizens the ability to easily access their voter rolls.
