House Democrats attempted another desperate anti-Trump smear on Wednesday, and it blew up in their faces in real time.
Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) was confronted on-air after Democrats were caught selectively redacting Epstein documents to create a manufactured narrative aimed at smearing President Donald Trump.
Even far-left CNN, one of the most loyal to the radical left, had no choice but to admit what happened.
This disaster began when Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released what they called a “tranche of correspondence” from the Jeffrey Epstein Estate, bizarrely packaged as a “blow against the White House’s Epstein cover-up.”
The three emails they released, spanning from 2011 to 2019, turned out to be nothing more than cherry-picked, heavily edited fragments designed to launch a fake political hit.
But their plan fell apart almost instantly.
Democrats redacted the name of a victim who publicly exonerated President Trump, even though the Epstein Estate itself did not redact her name.
That victim was Virginia Giuffre, who tragically passed away in April 2025 and who repeatedly stated under oath that:
- President Trump never acted inappropriately toward her
- Trump never flirted with her
- She never saw Trump and Epstein together
- She was never at Epstein’s home with Trump
In 1994, Trump converted his Mar-a-Lago residence into a luxury members-only club with guest rooms, a spa, and other hotel-style amenities.
Virginia took a summer job working alongside her father, Sky, as a spa attendant at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort around 1999. At 16, she allegedly encountered Ghislaine Maxwell there for the first time—the former girlfriend of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
According to the depositions unsealed and released earlier this year and reviewed by The Gateway Pundit, Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre said Trump never participated in any sexual abuse of minors. Giuffre also said she never personally saw Trump at Epstein’s New York mansion.
Exactly zero of the insinuations pushed by Democrats are supported by her testimony.
So why did Democrats hide her name? Simple: because it destroys their narrative.

During an interview on The Situation Room, CNN’s Pamela Brown stunned viewers by directly challenging Rep. Crockett on the Democrats’ deceptive edits.
Pamela Brown:
“This is an email from April 2nd, 2011. Republicans were saying that the victim is Virginia Giuffre. As you know, she died by suicide. She’s been a very outspoken victim of Jeffrey Epstein. Here’s the email right here on your screen. She wrote a book, as you know, and she did not accuse him of any wrongdoing. What do you make of that? And can you confirm that?”
Crockett tried to dodge:
Jasmine Crockett:
“Yeah, I don’t know. Obviously, it’s redacted who the victim is, so I won’t necessarily take the Republicans’ word on who it is that’s redacted. I don’t know why they would necessarily redact someone’s name who is deceased at this point.”
That’s when CNN dropped the hammer:
Pamela Brown:
“The Democrats did that, though. The Democrats redacted it.”
Crockett then scrambled to change the subject, mumbling about “protecting victims.”
