China’s spying campaign is pervasive and relentless. Former Federal Bureau of Investigation Director, Christopher Wray said, ““The PRC [People’s Republic of China] has made it clear that it considers every sector that makes our society run as fair game in its bid to dominate on the world stage, and that its plan is to land low blows against civilian infrastructure to try to induce panic and break America’s will to resist.”
Well said by former Director Wray, but if the FBI and Department of Justice had spent less time spying on Catholics, Pro-Lifers, and School Board attendees, maybe they would have had the time to more aggressively surveil and arrest the Chinese spies.
The Chinese are so brazen they are using boats to transport groups of Chinese spies between the Northern Marianna Islands and Guam (both are U.S. Territories in the Pacific) and did this to spy on the Ballistic Missile Defense tests being conducted in sovereign United States territory.
Now the Chinese are penetrating the Federal Reserve, one of the key financial entities overseeing the American economy. The Federal Reserve spy case was unprecedented in espionage history, but makes perfect sense after the spy ring was broken up.
Ed Martin becomes a Spy Catcher in the first few days on the job
Ed Martin, who heroically defended J6ers and sought truth on the Federal Government’s role in creating January 6, is now the acting United States Attorney for the District of Columbia. This is the same corrupt office that extra judiciously pursued J6ers.
Martin’s work has been frenetic as he simultaneously sacked around two dozen dirty prosecutors, put on notice those having an unlawful tantrum over Elon’s exposure of the money laundering at USAID, and at the same time became a spy catcher by having John Harold Rogers arrested.
Rogers is now 63 and lived in Vienna, Virginia. He was a former Senior Adviser for the Federal Reserve Board of Governors (FRB) and was arrested on charges that he conspired to steal Federal Reserve trade secrets for China.
The breach of the Federal Reserve is stunning.
The Federal Reserve is closely tied to the performance of the American capitalist system for the overall good of the Nation. Already a concern to some over the Constitutionality of the Federal Reserve, with the indictment, the trustworthiness of the Federal Reserve is in tatters.
Rogers was directly feeding inside information from the FRB to China, which gave the Chinese Government distinct business and financial advantages.
The indictment stated that, Rogers, a U.S. citizen with a Ph.D. in Economics, worked as a Senior Adviser in the Division of International Finance of the FRB from 2010 until 2021, where he was entrusted with confidential FRB information.
Rogers allegedly shared this valuable economic data with Chinese nationals.
These Chinese operatives worked for the intelligence and security apparatus of China and pretended to be graduate students at a People’s Republic of China university.
The Chinese had a covert Observation Post inside the Federal Reserve
With Rogers, the Chinese had advanced knowledge of economic data and reporting. With this information, Chinese investment firms could make purchases and sales at the best possible positions.
Rogers represents a treasonous insider trading operation of an enormous scale.
The indictment stated, “China holds a large amount of U.S. foreign debt (approximately $816 billion as of October 2024).
The data Rogers shared with his co-conspirators could allow China to manipulate the U.S. market, in a manner similar to insider trading.
Gaining advance knowledge of U.S. economic policy, including advance knowledge of changes to the federal funds rate, could provide China with an advantage when selling or buying U.S. bonds or securities.”
The indictment continued, “From at least 2018, Rogers allegedly exploited his employment with the FRB by soliciting trade-secret information regarding proprietary economic data sets, deliberations about tariffs targeting China, briefing books for designated governors, and sensitive information about Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) deliberations and forthcoming announcements.
He passed that information electronically to his personal email account, in violation of FRB policy, or printed it prior to traveling to China, in preparation for meetings with his co-conspirators.
Under the guise of teaching “classes,” Rogers met with his co-conspirators in hotel rooms in China where he conveyed sensitive, trade-secret information that belonged to the FRB and the FOMC.”
This operation was very lucrative for Rogers, “In 2023, Rogers was paid approximately $450,000 USD as a part-time professor at a Chinese university.”
Although the Indictment does not say this, it appears Rogers was part of the “Thousand Talents” Human Intelligence program where experts are recruited to “teach” for Chinese Universities, but in actuality these experts are acting as intelligence collection spies to feed information to Chinese intelligence.
If the Fed Reserve was being penetrated, what about other U.S. Government offices?
The Soviets, Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Foreign Extremists, and China have penetrated many elements of the Executive Branch, Legislative Branch, Academia, Corporations, and other Institutions but not the Federal Reserve (that I can find).
This Chinese intelligence operation shows a new level of craftiness and understanding of the American System. If the Chinese were inside the Federal Reserve, what about the Securities and Exchange Commission? The Patent and Trademark Office? USAID?
The Thousand Talents program has been quite successful at recruiting those with access, knowledge, or expertise to “teach” at a Chinese University for better than average pay.
The group of staffers running the Biden Administration ended the DOJ/FBI Task Force on Chinese malign influence operations because it was “racist”.
The Thousand Talents Program, Chinese Police Stations, Fentanyl, and the Chinese Special Operations infiltrators were just about shut down during the first Trump Term, but then the Biden staffers threw the gates wide open again.
Trump is back, and Ed Martin is now the US Attorney for the District of Colombia.
