Somali-born Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is lashing out at President Trump’s supporters and spreading falsehoods about him following politically incorrect comments he made on Monday about her and her place of birth.
As The Gateway Pundit’s Jordan Conradson reported, President Trump slammed the nation of Somalia and Omar while signing an executive order to establish the nation’s “first ever” task force to investigate fraud in federally administered housing, food, medical care, and cash assistance programs.
Trump did not mince words while addressing Omar’s homeland, explaining how it is the ultimate place of anarchy and poverty.
“Somalia’s a Third World, maybe a fourth world nation, one of the worst, one of the most dangerous,” Trump said. “They don’t have anything. They don’t have councils, they don’t have government, they don’t have police.
“They shoot each other all over the place.”
Trump then turned to Vice President JD Vance, suggesting that he look into Omar’s potential illegal status in America and also whether she married her brother.
“I hope this is part of it, but she married her brother, supposedly. I mean, there’s a lot of documentation, that means she’s here illegally, and she’s a congresswoman, and I hope you’re going to be looking at that, or somebody is all right?” he told Vance.
An angry Omar fired back on X, calling Trump and his supporters “stupid.” She also spread a vile lie about him, saying he was implicated in the “worst ped*phile corruption case.”
Omar, of course, was referring to the deceased Jeffrey Epstein. Trump cut ties with Epstein about 15 years before the ped*phile’s death in 2019.
“The most disturbing part of his unhinged comments is how comfortable he is in telling the world how stupid he and his followers are,” Omar wrote.
“But I guess it’s expected from a man who regularly and publicly fantasized about sleeping with his own daughter and is clearly implicated in the worst ped*phile cover-up case.”

The Gateway Pundit was the first to report on Omar’s marriage to her second husband and alleged brother, Ahmed N. Elmi.
In 2017, Omar swore under penalty of perjury while divorcing her husband (brother?) that she hadn’t seen Ahmed N. Elmi since 2011 and didn’t know anyone who could help her contact him.
But evidence emerged in September 2019 that Omar may have indeed married her brother, and that her real name may be Ilhan Nur Said.
