Another Democrat’s attempt to appeal to red-blooded Americans with their culinary skills backfired this week after users noticed what she was grilling.
On Thursday, Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger posted a photo on her X page showing her helping cook what was supposed to be beef, with an apparent grillmaster looking on.
This appeared to be her first time ever operating a grill.
“Order up!” The Virginia governor wrote.

When one takes a closer look at the meat, it should provoke disgust.
Notice how small, stringy, and odd-shaped it is. One could say it resembles roadkill, or even a rat.
Yuck.
Many social media users were grossed out, with some even commenting that the image was enough to make them go vegan.

Others compared Spanberger’s culinary skills to those of Chuck Schumer.
Recall that back in June 2024, Schumer managed to turn a simple Father’s Day grill into a roast—not of the burgers, but of himself.
The out-of-touch Senator, in an attempt to celebrate Father’s Day, shared a snapshot of himself placing cheese on a completely raw hamburger patty.
