A group of anti-ICE protesters gathered outside the federal courthouse in St. Paul on Friday as disgraced former CNN anchor Don Lemon was arraigned on federal civil rights charges.
The protesters waved large dildos in the air and chanted “Protect the press!” while Lemon entered his plea.
The leftist activists turned the courthouse steps into what one observer called a “surreal circus.”

The dildo-waving tactic appears to be part of a larger “Operation Dildo Blitz” protest style used recently against ICE operations in the Twin Cities.
Just days before, the same crude method was deployed outside the Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building in Minneapolis, a facility housing ICE operations.
Independent journalist Ford Fischer of News2Share was on the ground and captured the entire chaotic scene.
Fischer’s video shows protesters hurling hundreds of dildos at passing federal and local law enforcement vehicles.
Some activists ran into the street to retrieve the toys and throw them again, while others tried to stick suction-cup dildos directly onto the vehicles as they drove by.
Deputies were seen tossing the sex toys back over the fence to stop the repeated attacks. Dozens of protesters were arrested that day.

Lemon, now working as an “independent journalist,” pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from his involvement with anti-ICE agitators storming Cities Church in St. Paul in January.
Prosecutors allege he and other activists participated in a “takeover-style attack” that disrupted a worship service.
Lemon and co-defendants face counts of conspiring to violate civil rights and interfering with religious freedom under the FACE Act.
