The American Eagle clothing company came under fire from leftists for a clothing campaign featuring actress Sydney Sweeney employing a well-used wordplay of ‘genes’ for marketing blue jeans.
Sweeney, for her part, seems unbothered by the tantrums of the left and refuses to bow down to the woke mob.
Recently, Sweeney was all smiles as she posed with freed Israeli hostages Noa Argamani and Avinatan Or, who were both taken by Hamas terrorists following the October 7 attack while in attendance at a nature party.
A haunting image of Argamani at the moment of her capture at the party horrified the world as she pleaded with the terrorists while being held on the back of a motorbike, ‘Don’t kill me!” And she called out to her boyfriend, Or, who was being led away by Hamas.
Argamani was released after 245 days in captivity.
Thanks to President Donald Trump’s historic peace deal, Or was released after 738 days in captivity, and the two were reunited.
The nonprofit advocacy group StandWithUs shared an image of the meeting.
“Actress Sydney Sweeney alongside Hamas captivity survivors Noa Argamani and Avinatan Or.”
“Noa and Avinatan were kidnapped by Hamas terrorists on October 7, 2023, from the Nova Festival in southern Israel. Noa was rescued from Gaza in June 2024 during an IDF operation, and Avinatan Or was released on October 13, 2025, after more than two years in captivity.”

While it is unclear how the meeting came about, Sweeney’s boyfriend, music executive Scooter Braun, met with Argamani in 2024.
Braun shared at the time on Instagram, “Tonight was a very special night that I did not expect. I got invited to @glblctzn with some friends and got a call that the brave and amazing @noargamani wanted to join us.”
“I found myself in tears at the sight of her and found even more resolve in our mission to bring all the hostages home and push for peace and understanding between all people.”
“I got to watch this young woman smile and listen to some of her favorite songs and meet some amazing artists. But more importantly she and other survivors came together to dance again and listen to music in a place that promotes unity. We will bring them home and dance again.”
“Thank you Noa and so many others for tonight and thank you to the global citizen team for a special night. And thank you to my friend @teddysphotos , @coldplay , and @postmalone for being the legends that you are. Special night. Really moved. We will ALL dance again. Music unites.”
