It was a long and controversial road for Gmax.
After the DOJ released a trove of 300,000 documents, journalists around the world are going through the material, and for a long time we will see different stories popping up from this effort.
One of the most obvious features of this Epstein data dump – or any other, really – is the ubiquitous presence of disgraced socialite and convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell.
Having met Epstein after the mysterious death of her father, British newspaper tycoon Robert Maxwell, Ghislaine is seen in a trajectory from romantic moments in Italy up to crazed pictures where she is flashing everyone around her while massaging Epstein foot.
While this selection of pictures is far from exhausting, it does offer a progression in behavior that is very telling.
The initial pictures are far from controversial: Maxwell with Epstein on a plane, kissing him as they travel Europe.
But soon things spice up, and what we see in Maxwell’s face is very disturbing.
As she grows older, she is no longer the focus of Epstein’s ‘love’ interest.
So, it becomes about power.
A whole story could be made of pictures of Maxwell and former President Bill Clinton.
And, finally, we see the end result of the transformation: Maxwell flashes her chest to all around her as she massages Epstein’s foot.
When she decided to leave him and try to restart her life, it was too late.
