CCTV footage has shown Nick Reiner casually strolling home before he allegedly murdered his parents on Monday evening.

Meanwhile, gas station footage showed him purchasing alcohol shortly before he was arrested.

His arrest was also captured on camera, with Reiner raising his hands in surrender as police arrested him hours after the incident.

Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan Hochman said in a press conference on Tuesday that Reiner had been charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
“Today, I’m here to announce that our office will be filing charges against Nick Reiner, who is accused of killing his parents, actor, director Rob Reiner and photographer, producer Michelle Singer Reiner,” Hochman declared.
”These charges will be two counts of first-degree murder, with a special circumstance of multiple murders.
“He also fesses a special allegation that he personally used a dangerous and deadly weapon— that being a knife.”
”These charges carry a maximum sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole or the death penalty.”
”No decision at this point has been made with respect to the death penalty.”

Reiner was known for his decorated career as both an actor and filmmaker, most notably for his role in All in The Family, the mockumentary film Spinal Tap and the coming-of-age drama Stand By Me.
He was also notorious for his far-left activism, repeatedly denouncing Republicans as racist, misogynistic and a threat to American documentary.
