United States Agency for Global Media CEO Kari Lake responded on Wednesday to Democratic Arizona Senator Ruben Gallego’s unhinged rant against War Secretary Pete Hegseth amid the Department of War’s investigation into Senator Mark Kelly for urging military members to defy the President’s lawful orders.
“It’s an embarrassment to Arizona; it’s an embarrassment to our country,” Lake said of Gallego’s explative-ridden response. “And for him to speak in those profane terms like that, while sitting in the US Senate, it’s disgusting.”
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Junior Arizona Democratic Senator Ruben Gallego went off on Hegseth after it was announced that Mark Kelly may be recalled into active duty to undergo court-martial proceedings for misconduct under the Uniform Military Code of Justice. Specifically, Kelly is under investigation for violations of federal laws, including 18 U.S.C. § 2387, which prohibits “actions intended to interfere with the loyalty, morale, or good order and discipline of the armed forces,” the Department of War said.
In a profanity-laced tirade, Gallego described the investigation as “f*cking insane,” and he said “f*ck you” to War Secretary Pete Hegseth, while calling President Trump a Fascist and a King.

And, you know, these guys are trying to say that they’re not acting like fascists, they’re not trying to give as much power to this president as a king, that they should stop acting like it.
Mark Kelly is a patriot. There’s no reason why they’re going after him. He was doing his duty and just reminding people about their rights as service members. And, you know, Secretary Hegseth, all these guys, fuck you guys. You’re not gonna be able to scare us. We have a right to defend the Constitution of the United States. We have a right to tell our other service members that they have they, they have a right to ignore illegal orders, and you’re not going to be able to intimidate us.
This comes after Mark Kelly and five other Democratic lawmakers, in a recent video message, told active duty service members and intelligence officials that they have a “duty” to disobey “illegal” orders from President Trump.
The members of Congress used their credentials as high-ranking former members of the military and national security apparatus to advise people to disobey lawful orders from their chain of command and the President of the United States, with extremely broad and unclear language. By signaling they have the duty to do so, they further attempted to intimidate those under the command of the United States into opposing lawful orders.
This comes amid unrelenting waves of lawfare against the President’s lawful authority, which the Supreme Court has overwhelmingly ruled has been exercised properly.
The illegitimate orders from US lawmakers may seem legitimate to a layperson, such as the 18-year-old who signed up to serve his country with little knowledge of the laws under which they are governed.

Kari Lake, who ran against Gallego in the general election for the US Senate in 2024 but lost under mysterious circumstances, reacted by slamming Gallego over his embarrassing rhetoric, “low IQ,” and his ties to the Mexican drug cartels. Lake further questioned Gallego’s Harvard education, calling into question how he was admitted and saying she’d “love to see his transcripts.”
“The guy is a moron! And I’m embarrassed for the people of Arizona, and when we start to dig further into the election fraud that’s been happening for a long time in Arizona, I think there’s gonna be some hell to pay,” she said.

Mark Kelly, he’s, you know, made his— he’s made up his mind to put out content that was seditious, and he’s got a lie in that. He’s got to— he made the bed; he’s got a lie in it. And for this joker that you just played to come in and defend him, I’m not surprised. Low IQ, it should be an embarrassment. He says he went to Harvard. I’d love to see his transcripts, because that just shows he— when you have to constantly rely on profanity, it shows that you do not have a vocabulary that you can lean into.
