Harjinder Singh, an illegal alien truck driver, killed three Americans after he made an illegal U-turn on a Florida highway.
The Punjabi driver who obtained his truck driving license (CDL) in the Democrat-run sanctuary state of California made an insane U-turn on Florida’s Turnpike near Fort Pierce that caused the deadly crash.
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy revealed Singh failed English and couldn’t read road signs.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis sent Lt Governor Jay Collins to extradite Singh back to the Sunshine State to face the full force of the law.
Singh has been charged with three counts of vehicular homicide, a second-degree felony in Florida. Each count carrys a potential penalty of up to 15 years in prison for a total of a possible 45 years if convicted on all counts.
He also faces an additional manslaughter charge.

There are some, however, who want leniency for Singh despite the three dead Americans on his hands. More than 2.3 million people have signed a Change.org petition asking for clemency for Singh and suggesting counseling and community service instead.
We, the undersigned, urge Governor Ron DeSantis and the Florida Board of Executive Clemency to re-examine and reduce the sentence for a 28-year-old truck driver involved in a fatal U-turn crash on Florida’s Turnpike in South Florida. This was a tragic accident — not a deliberate act. While accountability matters, the severity of the charges against him does not align with the circumstances of the incident.

Consider alternative sentencing options, such as restorative justice measures, counseling, or community service, aligning with both accountability and compassion.
Some signers even shared video messages supporting Singh to the petition site.
“I am in support of Harjinder Singh. I know it was an accident. He made a terrible mistake, not a deliberate choice to harm anyone. He was working hard to support his family like so many of us. One wrong decision changed everything. A 45-year prison sentence is not justice.” pic.twitter.com/GnvPGfY6Xz
