According to Campus Reform, the University of Virginia’s business school has “ended its relationship with two programs dedicated to increasing diversity in the business field.”
This school of business had reportedly been in a partnership with the “Consortium for Graduate Study in Management” for 32 years.
The University of Virginia also ended its relationship with Forté, a nonprofit organization focused on increasing the number of women in business.
This was fundamentally a rejection of fairness and a hiring process based on merit. Fortunately, thanks to pressure from the Trump administration, UVA is no longer affiliated with those DEI Woke programs.
“The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business also ended its partnership with the Consortium earlier this month.”
In January, President Trump signed an executive order threatening to end federal funding to noncompliant schools.
As reported by The Gateway Pundit, there have been some other high-profile defeats for the DEI agenda recently.
The university has not admitted that this is why they ended the DEI partnerships, but it is widely assumed that this is the case.
The idea behind the Consortium was to promote ethnic diversity or increase Black and Hispanic representation, but that is not the job of a business school. Many would argue that merit matters more than ethnic composition.
The organization’s website says “Our mission, supported by the strength of our growing alliance and network of committed allies, is to expand access and increase representation in business education and leadership for all individuals.”
DEI has suffered a series of defeats throughout the country but woke has not yet been fully defeated.
Despite this fact, President Trump deserves a lot of credit for stemming the tide of anti White and Asian racial discrimination.
DEI is unconstitutional and un-American, goes against the fundamental principles upon which our country is based.
