President Trump had strong words for Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA) on Friday after Schiff made a desperate effort to avoid appearing with the Commander-in-Chief.
As Jim Hoft reported earlier, Trump flew to Asheville, North Carolina this morning to see the damage of Hurricane Helene. The state was abandoned by the previous Democrat regime.
From there, Trump went to Los Angeles to observe the damage caused by the historic fires in the nation’s second-most populous city. As TGP readers know, these fires were exacerbated by inexcusable Democrat state and local government negligence, notably refusing to fill critical aquifers.
During a press conference at the Asheville airport in Fletcher, North Carolina, a reporter asked Trump about Schiff’s disrespectful snub and lame excuse for avoiding the 47th President.
“It was reported that you invited Senator Schiff to go with you on this trip, and he said he was too busy,” the reporter said. “Are you disappointed?”
Trump responded by absolutely bodying the corrupt Russia hoaxer with this savage reply:
“I was told Schiff was going to travel with us to California,” Trump began. “I wasn’t thrilled, to be honest with you.”
“And I saw him last night on television; it looks like he got hit with a baseball bat or something,” he continued. “Something happened to him.”
“But I’ll ask Karoline (Leavitt) what happened to him.”

It’s not clear what TV show Trump was talking about. But Schiff posted a video on X two days ago criticizing Trump over his executive orders affecting California, including increasing the water supply.
Schiff outlandishly argued Trump’s actions would lead to more wildfires in the state. But X users instead focused more of their attention on some apparent bruises on Schiff’s face rather than slamming his blatant lies.
