Baltimore’s Ft. McHenry Tunnel has been closed in part after a tractor-trailer was set ablaze in a crash and fuel leak early Thursday morning.
This comes after The Key Bridge, a major commuter route that carries the Baltimore Beltway I-695 over the Patapsco River at the southern end of the Baltimore Harbor, collapsed in March, diverting its traffic to the Ft. McHenry tunnel.
The Gateway Pundit reported on the bridge’s collapse after the Singaporean Dali container ship took out a support column earlier this year.

The Maryland Transportation Authority alerted travelers that the Southbound and part of the Northbound tubes are closed.

The cause of the fire is reportedly under investigation.
