White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Tuesday repeatedly refused to answer questions about the unprecedented raid on Trump’s Florida residence.
More than 3 dozen federal agents descended on Mar-a-Lago Monday, rifled through offices and breached a safe.
An agent holding a machine gun was spotted in front of Mar-a-Lago as Biden’s jackbooted thugs raided a former US president’s home.
KJP absurdly claimed that Joe Biden was not aware of the FBI raid.
Biden learned about the raid from news reports, Karine Jean-Pierre told White House reporters on Tuesday.
ABC’s Mary Bruce said, “You’re underscoring the independence of the Justice Department, but…are you concerned about how it looks for [them] to be investigating…the former President, who may very well be the current President’s rival in 2024.”
Karine Jean-Pierre responded, “We’re not gonna comment…”
She continued, “Look, the White House learned about this FBI search from public reports. We learned just like the American public did yesterday and we did not have advance notice of this activity.”
“[Biden] believes in the rule of law,” she added.

Associated Press reporter Zeke Miller pressed Karine Jean-Pierre about the FBI raid and asked if Biden was aware of the raid before it happened.
“The FBI…served a search warrant on the former president’ residence in Florida. Was [Biden] or anyone at the White House aware of that search warrant…or has [Biden] been briefed in the aftermath of that search warrant being executed?” Zeke Miller asked.
KJP: “No. The President was not briefed, was not aware of it. No. No one at the White House was given a heads up.”

“Is the White House at all concerned…that…this…could…create the appearance of politically-motivated prosecution?” Zeke Miller asked in a follow up question.
Once again Karine Jean-Pierre refused to answer the question directly.
The DOJ “conducts investigations independently” and “it would not be appropriate” to comment as Biden believes “in the rule of law.” she said.

“Does the White House or the President believe it would be helpful…for the [DOJ] to be more open about the reasons for that search warrant, the underlying evidence there?”
“Again, this is not something I’m going to comment on today or from here, at all,” KJP said.

RealClearNews reporter Philip Wegmann asked KJP how Biden learned of the raid.
“You’ve said repeatedly that [Biden] learned of…the FBI visit…thru news reports. Can you tell us…more? Was he watching the news? Was he scrolling Twitter? Did someone in his staff flag it for him?” Wegmann asked.
KJP insisted Biden learned about the raid in the media and suggested perhaps an aide ‘flagged’ the story for him.
